A Russian and two Thais were arrested in Phuket for drug possession.
On July 9, two Thais and a Russian citizen were arrested in Phuket, who were accused of drug possession and consumption. This was reported by the Phuket Express on July 9.
"Police in Wichita, Phuket, conducted an operation that resulted in the arrest of two Thais and one Russian citizen on charges of drug possession in an elite condominium located behind a large shopping mall in the Wichita area," the publication said.
As the newspaper noted, a urine sample of the suspects tested positive for ecstasy and ketamine.
The three defendants were charged with possession of drugs of the first and second categories and the use of prohibited substances. This violates Thai drug laws.
Earlier, on July 4, a Russian man was deported from Thailand to Russia, who was wanted through Interpol channels on charges of drug trafficking. It is specified that in 2022, a man bought a batch of mephedrone for resale, packaged it and put it into hiding places in the Arkhangelsk region. However, the attacker failed to complete his plan, and he fled abroad.
