The Kraft Heinz food concern will split into two companies. This was reported on July 11 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
10 years after the infamous merger, Kraft Heinz is considering breaking up.
"Kraft Heinz is preparing for a split, 10 years after the merger of the two largest names,<...> organized by Warren Buffett and the Brazilian private investment company 3G Capital Partners," the newspaper said.
As the publication noted, one of the new companies will promote the products of the Kraft brand, the business is estimated at $ 20 billion. The second new company will promote Heinz and Grey Poupon brand sauces, dressings and condiments.
The company's owners suggested that this step would increase the budget to $31 billion.
The company is currently working on the details of the future separation.
Earlier, on April 22, the NYT reported on the plans of the US authorities to achieve the separation of Google. One of the key demands of the authorities was the forced sale of the Chrome web browser, as it plays a key role in attracting users to the Google search engine.
