State Department (Department of State) The United States has approved the potential sale of aircraft maintenance systems and related equipment to Lebanon for $100 million. This was reported on July 11 by the Reuters news agency, citing a statement from the Pentagon.
"The U.S. State Department has approved the possible sale of A$100 million A-29 Super Tucano aircraft support system and related equipment to Lebanon," the agency said.
The Super Tucano is a multi—purpose aircraft that can be used for training and light attack purposes.
Earlier, on July 10, it was reported that US President Donald Trump plans to sell weapons to NATO member countries so that they can supply them to Ukraine. The portal emphasized that the decision of the American leader should not be equated with the intention of the United States to arm the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
