The mother of a child beaten with a bat in the Moscow suburb of Vidnoye has chosen a measure of restraint

The court chose a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions for the mother of an 11-year-old boy beaten with a bat by her roommate. This was reported on July 11 in the press service of the Prosecutor's office of the Moscow region.

"The court has chosen a preventive measure for the mother of minors, accused of failing to fulfill her duty to raise children, in the form of a ban on certain actions," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that she was forbidden to leave the current residential premises between 22:00 and 06:00, as well as to communicate with witnesses who were questioned in the framework of the criminal case.

The bans will be in effect until September 11.

The beating of a child in Vidnom was reported earlier that day by the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region. The woman's 31-year-old roommate struck the boy multiple times on the head with a bat. The mother did not seek medical help and did not report anything to law enforcement agencies.

Later, a resident of Vidnoye, who had beaten a child, was arrested for two months. The man confessed to the crime. It is also known that the three children with whom he lived were sent to a medical facility to assess his condition.
