In the village of Pargolovo, St. Petersburg, a man stabbed a security guard at a chain store. This was announced on Friday, July 11, by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city.
"The police of the Vyborg district of the city received a report of a stabbing of a man in a chain store located at 6 Merkurieva Street in the village of Pargolovo," the department's Telegram channel clarified.
According to the Interior Ministry, there was a verbal conflict between a 29-year-old store security guard and a 27-year-old customer, after which the attacker attacked the victim with a knife. The guard was hospitalized in extremely serious condition.
"The violent buyer was detained by law enforcement officers on the spot and taken to the police department for trial. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved," the Interior Ministry concluded.
On February 27, a 19-year-old young man attacked an elderly man in a Kaluga store after making a remark to him. Eyewitnesses called the police, and the attacker was arrested. A criminal case was opened against him under the article "Beatings" (Article 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
