Putin instructed to prepare a draft decree on the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to submit a draft decree on the establishment of the Day of Languages of the Peoples of the Russian Federation by October 1. This is reported in the list of instructions of the head of state, published on July 10 on the Kremlin's website.

"The Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, together with the Government of the Russian Federation, should prepare and submit: a draft decree of the President of the Russian Federation on the establishment of the Day of Languages of the Peoples of the Russian Federation," the message says.

It was also instructed to submit proposals on the organization and holding of the All-Russian song poetry contest. The Presidential Council for the Implementation of state Policy in the field of support of the Russian language and the languages of the Peoples of Russia, as well as the Union of Writers of Russia, will participate in the work on the initiative.
