The XXXIII International Children's Film Festival "Scarlet Sails" named after V.S. Lanov has come to an end in Artek. The award ceremony for the winning films took place at the closing ceremony. The jury named the best film by Karen Zakharov, Armen Ananikyan "Artek through the centuries". The adventure film was shot for the 100th anniversary of the International Children's Center. The winners received a prize from Irina Gromova, General Director of the V.S. Lanov's Scarlet Sails Film Festival in Artek, and Sergey Garmash, People's Artist of Russia.
During the 10 days of the festival, the children watched 32 competitive films, among which they selected the best. The Chinese drama film directed by Xu An, "My Hachiko," was named the "Kindest Film" by three thousand Artek members of the Grand Children's Jury. "The wisest film" is "Caruso" by Ivan Kharatyan. "The most fascinating film" is "Palm–2" by Vladimir Kondaurov. "Best Actress of the Film Festival" – Irina Pegova, the film "Muhadrakon" by Tatiana Kolganova. "The best actor of the film festival" – Kirill Zaitsev, the film "Finist. The First hero" by Dmitry Dyachenko. "The best boy Actor" – Alexey Bakurenko, "The Legend of the Scythian Gold" by Vyacheslav Kazantsev. And the "Best girl Actress" Karina Kagramanyan starred in the film "Manyunya: The Birthday of Ba" by Arman Marutyan.
Every year, idols of children, masters of cinema and theater come to Artek for the "Scarlet Sails". This year's honorary guests of the festival were: Yuri Nazarov, Natalia Bondarchuk, Natalia Arinbasarova, Yuri Chernov, Natalia Gvozdikova, Tatiana Sudets, Sergey Batalov, Natalia Shchukina, Dmitry Zolotukhin, Evgeny Kochergin, Olga Krasko, Alya Mayer, Egor Salnikov, Pavel Komarov, Nikolai Kovbas, Alexander Astashenok, Nikolai Denisov, Konstantin Lavronenko, Lyubov Rudenko, Polina Nechitailo, Alexander Golovin, Mikhail Dorozhkin, Vladimir Tishko and many others. The stars held 60 master classes with the children, competed in the Spartakiad, in which the Artek team won. They also offered the guys to try their hand at cinema. The first author's short film made by children from nine Artek camps in the company of professional directors and actors created their own five-minute films, which were shown in the competition program "Producer Cinema".
Two films became winners: one by the decision of a professional jury, the other by the decision of the Artek team. The adults identified two films as the best at once: "Let's Start from the Beginning," which was shot by Artek residents from the Rechnoy camp. Their mentors were actors Pavel Sobshchikov and Victoria Lukina. The second winner was the short film "Dolphin", a work by children from Polevoye directed by producer Nikolai Kovbas. And among the children, the film of the Kiparisny camp, "And yet it exists," was recognized as the best. His children were helped by the director Egor Salnikov.
The special prize "For Honest Service to Cinematography", established by the founder of the festival, People's Artist of the USSR Vasily Semenovich Lanov, was presented to Konstantin Fedorenko, director of the Artek International Children's Center.
