The company Evolute intends to deepen the localization of cars in Russia and expand in 2026 the number of models that are produced at the plant in the Lipetsk region on a full cycle. Andrey Reznikov, managing partner of the Evolute manufacturing company, told the Izvestia correspondent about this.

"This year, the localization of the i-Pro model reaches 2050 points, slightly less for the i-Joy. We actively put the entire product line on welding and painting. And by the first quarter of next year, all the models that we produce will be mass-brewed and painted. These are three Voyah models and three models, and maybe even four Evolute models," said Reznikov.

The top manager noted that the first model, which will be launched in a full cycle, will be the hybrid crossover Evolve i-Space. Due to the line change, the homologation process and the adaptation of other models to the Russian market will take some time, he said.

"We are actively working with Russian manufacturers on components and hardware, electric motors are currently being tested, and we also have a partner for batteries. For more than six months now, we have been testing batteries for the i-Joy and are starting to test for the i-Space. It is important to clarify about the coloring: we are running the entire cycle on Russian chemicals, we have several suppliers, all tests have been passed, contracts have been signed," said Reznikov.

Earlier, on May 7, it became known that the updated hybrid crossover Evolve i-Space will be available in Russia in August this year, the assembly of cars with welding and painting at the plant in the Lipetsk region will begin in the third quarter.
