- The interactive exhibition "The Very Moscow" will be held in Moscow in August
A large interactive exhibition for the whole family "The very Moscow" will be held in the Moscow Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" from August 1 to 31. It will become one of the flagship venues of the large-scale forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030". This year, the exhibition presents the main achievements of the city in three areas at once – transport, urban planning and industry.
The exhibition will demonstrate the human–centered development of the city, show that the capital is a leader in many indicators of urban infrastructure and is one of the most modern and livable cities.
At the exposition with a total area of 11 thousand square meters, visitors will be introduced to the capital's transport infrastructure, the Moscow metro, urban planning, the renovation program, the new standard for Moscow's development, the high-tech industry and many others.
This year, the large-scale exhibition will go beyond the Manege: for the first time, 8 simulators of urban transport and construction equipment will be available to visitors on the street. Guests will also enjoy more than 10 themed spaces with interactive presentations on various aspects of the city's development, as well as more than 50 exhibits of Moscow's high-tech industry.
The exhibition program also includes lectures, master classes and performances by artists from the Music in the Subway project. The 1.5 thousand square meter family leisure center has prepared entertainment with gifts for young visitors and their parents.
"The measures to support and develop urban infrastructure that we are implementing under the leadership of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin make it possible to create a model of the capital where the well-being of residents is a key priority. The exhibition, which we have been organizing in the Manege for the third year, is of interest to both Muscovites and visitors to the city. Last year it was visited by 357 thousand people. We hope that this year it will have the same success," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Transport and Industry.
"The capital pays special attention to creating a comfortable urban environment for residents. This year, the theme of urban planning will be presented on such a large scale for the first time at the exhibition in the Manege. In various interactive sessions, you will be able to try yourself as a city planner and learn more details about the development of the capital and innovative construction technologies," said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Moscow City Planning Policy Department.
