Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov instructed the Dnepr commander to develop methodological materials for other groups on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the control of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on Friday, June 11, by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"Belousov set the task for the commander of the Dnepr group, together with the relevant departmental services, to develop methodological materials for studying this experience of the group and its subsequent application in other areas, taking into account the specifics of the actions of the troops," the report says.
In addition, technical equipment issues were discussed. Belousov instructed, together with the Kalashnikov concern, to work out an increase in the supply of AK-12K assault rifles and RPL-20 machine guns for units of the Airborne Forces and assault groups.
