The lawyer of the journalist Ray announced plans to file a lawsuit against Brigitte Macron.

Journalist Natasha Ray is preparing a lawsuit against Brigitte, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, her brother and lawyer for misleading the court. On July 11, the lawyer of the journalist Francois Danglean told Izvestia.

"Natasha Ray is not going to stop there. She is going to file a lawsuit on charges of conspiracy to fraudulently mislead the court against Mrs. Brigitte Tronier, married to Macron, and Mr. Jean-Michel Tronier and their lawyer, as well as against three judges who fraudulently and unlawfully found her guilty in the first instance," he said.

The lawyer added that he would require Brigitte Macron, her brother and their lawyer to attend the hearing in person.

In 2021, Rey accused the wife of the French president of having a sex change. According to Rey, Brigitte was born a man named Jean-Michel, and then changed her gender. The court of first instance found her guilty and ordered her to pay a fine of €500, as well as €8,000 in moral compensation to Brigitte Macron and €5,000 to her brother Jean—Michel Tronier.

On March 23, Danglean informed Izvestia that Ray had filed a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). At the same time, in February, the journalist requested political asylum in the Russian Federation. On July 10, the Paris Court of Appeal acquitted the journalist.
