Two people were killed and more than 20 injured in a minibus accident in the DPR

As a result of an accident with a minibus in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), two people were killed and over 20 others were injured. This was announced on July 11 on the VKontakte social network page of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR.

"It was previously established that the 66-year-old driver of a Renault Duster car, driving at an unregulated intersection from a secondary road to the main one, did not provide an advantage in traffic and collided with a GAZ-3302 minibus (RUTA), which was transporting passengers along city route number 9," the report says.

As a result of the collision, the minibus continued to drive in an uncontrollable state, hit a tree and overturned. The accident killed the driver and one of the GAZ passengers. The rest of the participants in the accident sought medical help.

The head of the Russian State Traffic Inspectorate, Mikhail Chernikov, in an interview with Izvestia, spoke about how the new national project will reduce accidents on the roads.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that a person was killed in an accident in Primorsky Krai on the 487th km of the A-370 highway. In addition, three more were injured. It was clarified that the passenger of the Lexus died on the spot. The rest were taken to a medical facility with injuries of varying severity.
