Average prices for winter tires in Russia increased by 13%

The average price of new winter tires from non-premium brands increased by 13.3% over the year. The National Agency for Industrial Information (NAPI) announced this on July 11 in its Telegram channel.

So, from June last year to June of this year, winter tires for passenger cars increased in price from 8.7 thousand to 9.8 thousand rubles. This is the peak value for the period under review.

At the same time, the average price of a summer tire for the year increased by only 2.6% — from 9.8 thousand to 10.1 thousand rubles. The maximum values (10.7 thousand rubles) were recorded in September last year and February this year. In the spring, the price was 10.4 thousand rubles, after which it began to decline.

Earlier, on June 4, NAPI prepared similar statistics in the premium tire segment. The average price of new premium-brand winter tires for passenger cars in Russia increased by 16.5% over the year, reaching 28.7 thousand rubles in May. At the same time, the average price of a summer tire for the year increased by 1.1% and amounted to 29.5 thousand rubles.
