Five people, including a minor, were killed in an accident in Sevastopol. This was reported in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF).
"A criminal case has been opened on this fact on the grounds of a crime under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules that negligently caused the death of two or more persons")," follows from a publication in the Telegram channel.
As specified by "Gazeta.Ru", the incident occurred on July 10 on the 47th km of the Simferopol - Bakhchisarai — Sevastopol highway. According to preliminary data, the 18-year-old girl did not give way to the minibus.
It is noted that the progress of the investigation will be reported to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin.
Earlier in the day, a man was killed and three others were injured in an accident on the 487th km of the A-370 highway in Primorsky Krai. It was clarified that the passenger of the 1978 Lexus died on the spot.
