The fourth conference of some European countries on the reconstruction of Ukraine was "overshadowed" by the news about the success of the Russian army in its zone of self-defense and concern about the division of Ukraine, according to a future peace treaty. This was reported on July 10 by The Guardian newspaper.

"The constantly increasing frequency of Russian drone attacks and concerns that Ukraine will be divided according to a future peace plan have cast a shadow over the meeting of European leaders to plan a possible reconstruction of the country," the newspaper said.

As noted by the publication, the conference took place during the turning point of the Ukrainian economy, in connection with the military successes of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces).

According to The Guardian, the United States has formed an approximate peace plan for resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which includes territorial concessions, and it will take about $200 billion to restore the disputed territories.

As reported by Gazeta.Ru", on July 10-11, 2025, a conference on the restoration of Ukraine is being held in Rome. It was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Italian Prime Minister George Meloni.
