Entrepreneurs support SVO fighters with the help of the Summer in Moscow project
Small and medium-sized business owners participating in the Summer in Moscow project provide support to participants in the special military operation (SVO) through the proceeds received. This was reported on July 11 on the city portal of the capital. mos.ru .
"Sellers transfer part of their income to military personnel, who have been supported from the very beginning of their military service," the publication says.
Some businessmen cooperate with charitable foundations to provide such support. At the same time, others maintain direct contact with the fighters and personally transfer funds to them, with which the participants of the special operation purchase equipment, clothing, long-term storage food and other necessary goods.
"Every month, part of the proceeds is transferred to military personnel and restaurateurs. In summer, during the veranda season, their income also increases, and the percentage of these funds becomes higher," the organizers said.
The staff of one of the restaurants collected more than 300 food packages, consisting of both their own products and products from suppliers who also provide support.
"We help in various ways: we transfer funds, as we do now, we transfer humanitarian parcels to our guys through military acquaintances. We collect everything we need," said Pavel, a representative of the Thirst bar.
Since the beginning of the military training, the staff of the institution has purchased and sent stoves, seasonal clothing and food to the military. Other items requested by the fighters were also delivered.
On July 2, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about the help of Moscow activists to the participants of the SVR. During the special operation, more than 61,000 books were transferred from the capital to the field libraries of military units, hospitals, training centers and libraries in new territories.
