Armed men have abducted and killed at least nine passengers on a bus in Pakistan. This was reported by the local media The Express Tribune on Friday, July 11.

Loralai District Commissioner Saadat Hussain reported that armed criminals seized the bus, took the passengers out of it, after which they checked their identity cards and shot them.

According to the local administration, the criminals belong to the Fitna al-Hindustan group, an organization that is recognized as a terrorist organization in Pakistan. The group receives funding from India and operates in Balochistan province, where the bus attack took place.

"The brutal actions of the Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists in the Sardhaka region of Balochistan. The terrorists killed nine innocent Pakistanis by dropping them off the bus," commented Shahid Rind, a representative of the local administration.

He also stressed that law enforcement agencies have been put on high alert, and assured that the lives and safety of Pakistani citizens will be preserved.

Earlier, on June 28, it was reported that an explosion in northwestern Pakistan killed at least 16 people when a suicide bomber drove a car packed with explosives into a convoy of soldiers.
