The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the combat operation of the TOS-1A Solntsepek in its combat zone.

The calculation of the upgraded heavy flamethrower system (TOS) 1A "Solntsepek" of the Center group of forces struck the launch areas of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the command post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation zone. This was announced on July 11 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"A powerful thermobaric strike completely destroyed the enemy's fortified stronghold, significantly reducing the intensity of the enemy's use of various types of drones in the threatened area," the ministry said.

It is noted that the coordinates for the strike were obtained from intelligence units. The crew advanced to the combat position, accompanied by a fire support squad and a patrol.

After aiming at the target, a volley of thermobaric rockets was fired at a distance of more than 20 km. As a result, the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces units in the affected area were destroyed. The fire was adjusted in real time by UAV calculations.

"We act as support for our infantry. We are leaving, working on various targets, such as UAV calculations, enemy manpower, and some fortified dugouts," said Yevgeny Sarychev, commander of the combat vehicle.
