US President Donald Trump has ordered the imposition of trade duties of 35% on goods imported from Canada. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on July 11.

It is specified that the new tariffs will come into force on August 1.
Earlier, on July 9, Trump imposed trade duties of 50% on goods from Brazil, he sent a corresponding letter on July 9 on behalf of the White House. The law will be put into effect on August 1. The current president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, criticized the letter, noting the unfairness of Trump's statements.
