In Argentina, members of the Association of Technicians and Workers for Protection and Safety in Air Navigation (ATEPSA) announced a large-scale strike on July 19. This was reported on the organization's website on July 10.
"Aviators' unions have launched an action and struggle plan to stop the degradation of the sector. <...> Saturday, July 19: national pilots' strike," the statement said.
It is noted that the action will take place within 24 hours.
Earlier, on June 12, in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, a protest turned into clashes with the police, two cars were set on fire. Five people were hospitalized with symptoms of tear gas poisoning as a result of the incident. Several dozen more were helped on the spot.
