It is clarified that during the consideration of candidates for employment, the university gave preference to specialists from "underrepresented groups." According to the professor who filed the complaint, this approach may violate the American Civil Rights Act of 1964.

If the charges are confirmed, the educational institution may face the threat of losing federal funding.

"The Ministry of Education has identified five main points of complaint. In particular, it is claimed that the university has "equality consultants" who deal with issues of equality in employment, and that the educational institution has a task force on combating racism and inclusive excellence," the article says.
