The media reported on Sweden's delivery of 10 Archer self-propelled guns to Ukraine
The Swedish government intends to allocate funds to provide Ukraine with military equipment, including more than 10 new guns for Archer self-propelled artillery systems (UAS). This was reported by Le Point magazine on July 10, citing sources.
"The government has decided to allocate 1.5 billion Swedish kronor (about 130 million euros) for new military supplies to Ukraine. They include more than 10 new guns for Archer self—propelled artillery systems, long-range attack vehicles and underwater vehicles," the magazine quoted Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonsson as saying.
According to Le Point, for wider use of self-propelled guns, new guns are required, which can increase the range up to 50 km.
Earlier, on July 8, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States would transfer some defensive weapons to Ukraine. According to the American leader, it was he who approved these supplies to the Kiev regime. Later, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) called the delivery of 10 interceptor missiles for the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) by the United States a stupid joke.
