A transit transformer caught fire at TPP-1 in Penza
In Penza, a transformer caught fire on Novocherkasskaya Street. This was announced on Thursday, July 10, by the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
"The fire area is 100 square meters. m. Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are extinguishing the fire," the agency said in a message on its Telegram channel.
As indicated in the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire is localized. Previously, there were no fatalities or injuries.
On the same day, a transformer substation caught fire in Veliky Novgorod. Later, the open gorenje was eliminated. It was noted that 50 people and eight pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
