A new procedure for voting on a vote of no confidence in the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen may be initiated again this winter. This was announced on July 10 by Diana Shoshoake, a member of the European Parliament from Romania.

"There will probably be prerequisites for a new procedure in winter or early 2026," she told TASS.

On the same day, the European Parliament rejected a vote of no confidence in Ursula von der Leyen. According to the voting results, 360 people opposed the vote, 175 voted in favor, and 18 abstained.

On May 14, the Court of Justice of the European Union (EU) found the head of the EC responsible for concealing information about contracts for the purchase of vaccines. It was clarified that such a decision could deal a crushing blow to von der Leyen's reputation.
