Bank deposits remain the best investment option. This was stated by economist Mikhail Belyaev on Thursday, July 10.

"Despite the fact that the Central Bank is gradually reducing the key rate, and deposit rates are also decreasing, for people who are not burdened with financial knowledge, deposits remain the best tool for investing funds," the expert said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

According to the economist, when the Central Bank finally lowers the rate, other ways of placing money will become competitive, for example, individual investment accounts and co-financing accounts with the state.

"Co—financing is more about the opportunity to build financial braces for old age. There, for 10 years, a person has been saving 3 thousand rubles a month, and the state replenishes the account with the same amount. This money is inherited if you suddenly do not have time to spend it, and the spouses do not share it during the divorce. So this is also quite an interesting tool," he concluded.

On July 3, Andrei Loboda, an economist and top manager in the field of financial communications, said that Russians who receive social payments can open social deposits and accounts on the Gosuslugi portal from July 1, RT reports. He noted that the deposit is beneficial at an increased rate. You can open only one such deposit and place no more than 50 thousand rubles on it, NSN clarifies.

The head of the Central Bank (CB) of the Russian Federation, Elvira Nabiullina, said during the plenary session of the Financial Congress of the regulator on July 2 that the adaptation of the Russian economy to external changes had ended, Moscow 24 writes. She noted that the Russian economy needed to change its development model and rely on internal sources of financing.

She noted that the Central Bank notes a slowdown in inflation in Russia. 360.ru .

Earlier, on April 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law allowing banks to open accounts for citizens without the need for personal presence under an experimental legal regime, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
