Putin held a meeting on education
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting dedicated to the end of the academic year and summing up the results of the USE and OGE period. This was reported on Thursday, July 10, in the Kremlin's Telegram channel.
It is specified that the reports were made by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov and Head of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov.
The main topics of the meeting were the end of the current academic year, the analysis of the results of the final exams and the course of the admission campaign to higher education institutions.
"You and I have finished taking exams at school, we have completed all the graduations, and now another stage has already begun — admission to special educational institutions, both secondary and higher," Putin said.
He added that despite the departure of school teachers on leave, preparations are underway for the next academic year, including in terms of material and technical equipment of institutions.
Kravtsov, in a report to Putin, said that no serious incidents had been recorded during the USE and OGE this year. The Minister also said that in the future, close attention will be paid to security issues during the final assessments.
