The lowest figures in the number of accidents were recorded in the Lipetsk region.

The Lipetsk region recorded the lowest number of road accidents in the entire history of observations. Since the beginning of 2025, 470 road accidents have been registered. 57 people died and 582 were injured.

According to Andrey Panasovich, head of the Lipetsk State Traffic Inspectorate, quoted by GOROD48, in the entire history of statistical observations in the region, accident rates in the first six months of this year have become the lowest.

Of the 470 accidents, 57 were caused by drivers under the influence of alcohol. Nine people were killed and 67 injured in such accidents. Children were injured in 73 accidents. Two children died.

Since the beginning of the year, 114 pedestrian assaults have been committed, with 33 assaults caused by pedestrians themselves.

It revealed almost 752 thousand traffic violations, including 1.3 thousand cases of driving by drivers with signs of intoxication.

Earlier, on July 10, it was reported that the number of road accidents involving personal mobility aids (IMS) in January -June in Moscow decreased by 59.8% compared to the same period last year. In just six months, 297 accidents involving personal mobility vehicles were registered in Moscow, in which four people were killed and 310 injured. The number of deaths and injuries in such incidents decreased by 42.9% and 60.2%, respectively.
