Murmansk Philharmonic to buy harp for 5.5 million rubles

The Government of the Murmansk Region will provide the regional Ministry of Culture with 5.5 million rubles from the reserve fund. The relevant draft resolution should be discussed by July 16. The text of the document is posted on the Open Electronic Region portal.

The funds will be transferred to the Murmansk Regional Philharmonic for the purchase of a harp. The agency must report on the targeted spending of these funds by December 15, writes the Bi-port news agency.

Earlier, in March, it was reported that the Murmansk Regional Museum of Local Lore was opened to visitors after reconstruction. The museum has been renovated since May 2019. The updated exposition features traditional exhibits, as well as modern information technologies. There are 14 themed halls dedicated to the Murmansk Region for visitors.
