Kiev does not rule out a new suspension of US military aid, Ukraine needs to prepare for this. This was reported on July 10 by The Atlantic magazine, citing Ukrainian officials.

"We must be ready for the next suspension of supplies," the newspaper quoted one of the officials as saying.

It is specified that it takes at least several weeks, if not months, for the transfer of weapons provided by the United States from the Pentagon warehouses to Ukraine. As soon as the United States announces the suspension of military assistance, Kiev has to quickly change its strategy of fighting.

In addition, the suspension of aid also affects the replacement and repair of Ukraine's weapons. Without American support, Kiev will have to make efforts to find spare parts in the European Union (EU) countries or manufacture its own, but this will take time.

On July 2, Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth announced that he had decided to suspend the supply of dozens of interceptor missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, more than 100 Hellfire missiles, dozens of Stinger missiles, more than 250 GMLRS guided precision projectiles and other types of weapons to Ukraine. It was clarified that the suspension may last until the assessment of American weapons is completed.

On July 8, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States would transfer some defensive weapons to Ukraine. According to the American leader, it was he who approved these supplies to the Kiev regime. Later, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) called the delivery of ten interceptor missiles for the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) by the United States a "stupid joke."
