- The Ukrainian Ambassador was summoned to the Hungarian Foreign Ministry because of the murder of a Hungarian during conscription into the Armed Forces
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary summoned the Ambassador of Ukraine after Hungarian citizen Jozsef Szebestien died from his injuries as a result of being beaten by employees of the Shopping mall (territorial recruitment center, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine). This was announced on Thursday, July 10, by the Secretary of State of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Levente Magyar.
"Today we are immediately summoning the Ambassador of Ukraine in Budapest after Ukrainian recruiters beat up a Hungarian in Transcarpathia during forced conscription, who later died of his injuries," Magyar wrote on Facebook (owned by the extremist Meta company recognized in Russia, its activities are banned in the Russian Federation).
He stressed that it is unacceptable "to beat a man to death, and even a Hungarian, just because he did not want to go to war and did not want to participate in senseless murder."
"Ukrainian recruiters beat a man with an iron rod after they grabbed him, pushed him into a van and took him to a recruitment center. <...> A Hungarian was killed in Ukraine only because he did not want to participate in the <conflict>," Magyar added.
The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatiana Moskalkova, said on June 1 that the international community should condemn the Kiev regime after the recognition by the UN Office for Human Rights (UHHR) of human rights violations. According to her, this is the "true face" of the Ukrainian regime, whose victims were not only Russian civilians and Russian military personnel, but also Ukrainians themselves.
