A large forest fire was localized in the Rostov region
Experts have localized a forest fire in the Kamensky district of the Rostov region on an area of 433 hectares. This was announced on July 20 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
The department clarified that the fire occurred on the lands of the Kamensk forestry.
"The forest fire in the Kamensky district is localized. Its area is 433 hectares," the Telegram channel says.
It is noted that currently more than 390 specialists and 91 pieces of equipment continue to extinguish the fire.
The day before, the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Trans-Baikal Territory reported that 665 forest fires had been extinguished in the region since the beginning of the season, and currently all fires had been extinguished. It was clarified that civil servants, volunteers and volunteers provided active assistance in extinguishing the fire.
