A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Last night, the Russian army launched a group strike with high-precision long-range weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine in Kiev and the infrastructure of the military airfield. All designated targets were successfully hit.

In addition, during the day, aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile troops and artillery of the Russian Army hit an ammunition depot, a missile weapons storage facility and temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 131 districts.

The units of the Center group of forces have taken more advantageous positions and positions. As a result of the group's actions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost more than 435 military personnel, five armored fighting vehicles, including a US-made HMMWV armored vehicle, 11 vehicles, five artillery pieces, as well as American-made AN/TPQ-36 and Israeli-made RADA counterbattery warfare stations.

At the same time, the units of the North and South groups of forces improved their tactical position, and the Vostok group of forces continued to advance deep into the Ukrainian defense.

"Units of the Dnepr group of forces improved their tactical situation, defeated formations of the mechanized, mountain assault brigades, two coastal defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and three air defense brigades in the areas of Kamenskoye, Novoandreevka, Stepovoye, Zaporizhia region, Yantarnoye and Nikolskoye, Kherson region," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The air defense forces, in turn, shot down five guided aerial bombs and 185 aircraft-type UAVs.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, during the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 68,662 drones, 614 anti-aircraft missile systems, 24,183 tanks and other armored personnel carriers, 1,576 combat vehicles with multiple rocket launchers, 27,212 field artillery and mortars, as well as 37,942 units of special military vehicles.
