SBU colonel shot dead in Kiev

Ivan Voronich, a colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), was shot dead in Kiev, and the killer managed to escape from the scene. This was announced on July 10 by ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Igor Mosiychuk (listed as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation).

"In the city of Kiev <...>, a man approached SBU Colonel Ivan Ivanovich Voronich, <...> fired five well—aimed shots, after which he fled the scene of the crime," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
