Lavrov stressed the need for constant dialogue between Russia and China against the background of the global situation.

The difficult and constantly changing situation in the world requires regular dialogue between Russia and China. This was announced on July 10 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"The global reach and strategic nature of our relationship have been confirmed once again. And these relations are even more in demand against the background of difficult events and very dynamic events in the world, which require our constant dialogue in the spirit of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation, as instructed by our leaders," he said during a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Kuala Lumpur.

Lavrov expressed hope for a detailed discussion with his Chinese counterpart on the issues of the Asia-Pacific region (APR) and emphasizing the central role of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in this part of the world.

In addition, the Russian Foreign Minister noted that other associations require attention, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the G20, and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.

In particular, the Minister congratulated the Chinese side on the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China. He stressed that Moscow has always supported the creation of a faction and the revolutionary struggle of the Chinese people. Lavrov also noted the continued strengthening of mutual solidarity between the Russian Federation and China for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries and international relations.
