A new case of measles was registered in Primorye

Another case of measles was registered in Primorsky Krai. A 16-year-old teenager was hospitalized in the Ussuriysk Central city hospital.

According to the PrimaMedia news agency, the young man had not previously been vaccinated against measles. Before his illness, he was vacationing with his parents in Moscow. It is assumed that it was in the capital that the infection occurred.

The boy was hospitalized with fever, weakness and rash, and is being treated in an infectious diseases hospital. The patient's condition is assessed as moderate.

Since the beginning of 2025, five cases of measles have been registered in Chita (Zabaykalsky Krai), four of them from June 10 to June 20. Four children were not vaccinated against the disease due to parental refusal.
