A sawmill caught fire on the territory of correctional colony No. 1 in Solikamsk. This was announced on July 10 in the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Perm Region.

"The departmental fire department of the institution and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Perm Region immediately arrived at the scene, a total of 42 people and 13 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. At the time of the fire, no production work was carried out in the workshop," the report says.

There was no evacuation, and there were no casualties among colony staff or prisoners. The fire has already been contained. According to the Federal Penitentiary Service, the fire area was 300 square meters. m.
