The media reported on the order of the UK and France for new Storm Shadow missiles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The United Kingdom and France plan to order a new supply of Storm Shadow (SCALP) cruise missiles to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on July 9 by The Independent newspaper.

"The UK and France plan to order more Storm Shadow missiles as they step up work to replace these weapons as part of an updated defense pact," the publication said.

As the newspaper noted, during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to the UK, the countries will determine the direction of the next stage of the project to create a successor to Storm Shadow.

The Independent also reported on the agreement between the UK and France on strengthening nuclear ties.
