A man died as a result of being hit by a car in Nakhodka
In Nakhodka, a 53-year-old man was killed as a result of a car hitting the roadway. This was announced on July 10 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Primorsky Territory in the Telegram channel.
"The 19-year-old driver of a Mazda Axela car, moving along the right lane of the roadway from the Vodokanal public transport stop in the direction of the Lesozavod stop, hit a 53—year-old pedestrian," the statement said.
It is noted that the deceased tried to cross the roadway in the wrong place. He died from his injuries.
Police officers are conducting an inspection and have ordered a number of investigations into the incident.
"Based on the results of the audit, a legitimate and reasonable decision will be made," the agency said.
On July 6, a minor died in Engels due to a driver hitting a group of pedestrians. A criminal case was opened into the incident in accordance with paragraph "a" of Part 4 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules that negligently caused the death of a person committed by a person in a state of intoxication").
