- Kursk residents shared their feelings after the death of a five-year-old child due to an APU strike
Residents of Kursk who came to the memorial told about their feelings after the death of a five-year-old boy as a result of a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the city beach. The relevant footage is published by Izvestia on July 9.
"We all seemed to be praying for him to survive. When we found out today that, unfortunately, baby Anatoly died <...> it seems that every parent, every adult understands what a tragedy this is," Irina Mitrikova shared.
Vitaly and Irina Simonov pointed out the need for residents to gather and be together to express support for the family of the deceased child at such a moment.
"People should show their civic position, they should really come together and express their opinion about the inadmissibility of such things," Sergei Kirillov said.
The death of a five-year-old boy as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces was reported earlier that day.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the Gorodskiy beach in Kursk on July 8. As a result of the attack, three people were killed on the spot, Khinstein reported. Seven people were injured in the Ukrainian strike. The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has opened a criminal case on the attack.
