The Prime Minister of Pakistan handed over a letter addressed to Vladimir Putin
On July 9, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif handed over a letter addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Russian side.
"The letter was handed over from the Pakistani side by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic for Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi during a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk in Moscow," TASS informs.
The contents of the letter and the reaction of the Russian side are not reported.
The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Aurangzeb, said in an interview with Izvestia on March 27 that the country expects progress in relations with Russia in the coming years. According to him, the expansion of Pakistani-Russian cooperation will ensure the development of regional transport corridors in Asia, including the North–South logistics system, improved infrastructure, and increased trade.
