The Palestinian Hamas movement agreed to release 10 Israeli hostages during negotiations in Doha. This was reported on July 9 in the Telegram channel of the movement.

"Hamas is committed to ensuring that the negotiations are successful, and for this reason has agreed to release 10 hostages," the statement said.

At the same time, it is noted that negotiations on a number of key points are still ongoing. Among the issues, the group named the admission of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and the withdrawal of Israeli troops from its territory. Discussions are also underway to provide the Palestinians with "real guarantees" of a mutual cease-fire.

Earlier, on July 8, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel intends to achieve all its goals in Gaza during the armed conflict. He added that he is in constant contact with US President Donald Trump, which helps the countries to maintain communication about the situation in the sector.
