An elderly woman died as a result of a fire in Lipetsk

In Lipetsk, an elderly woman died as a result of a fire in an apartment building. This is reported by GOROD48 with reference to the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

The fire occurred the night before, on July 8, on Opytnaya Street, 21. The apartment on the fifth floor caught fire.

An 80-year-old landlady died as a result of the incident. The exact cause of the fire is being determined.

Four fire departments were involved in extinguishing the fire.

On the same day, a fire broke out in a private house in the village of Yasenevo, Nizhny Novgorod region. As a result, a man born in 1996 and a child born in 2018 died.
