The renovated Museum of Heroism in Moscow has already received more than 33 thousand visitors.

The updated exhibition of the Museum of Heroism at VDNH, which opened two months ago, was visited by more than 33 thousand people, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

The exhibition is located in pavilion No. 59 "Grain". There are more than 600 exhibits delivered from the area of the special military operation (SVO). These are trophies from the fields, documentary evidence, personal belongings of military personnel. The collection continues to be replenished, including the fighters themselves, as well as volunteers and war correspondents.

"The renovation of the exhibition was timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Victory. This fact, as well as the fact that the museum is open in the historical pavilion of the country's main exhibition, emphasize the continuity — the connection between the exploits of Soviet soldiers and the current defenders of the Fatherland," Sergunina said.

One of the captured samples of NATO military equipment presented in the museum is the American Stryker armored vehicle. Other exhibits include enemy reconnaissance drones, weapons, and equipment.

Hero of Russia, the head of the UAV service of the Volunteer Reconnaissance and Assault Brigade named after the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky, Colonel John Semenov, said that his detachment also handed over several items from the combat zone. "And when you see them next to the exhibits of our comrades, you feel a sense of belonging that is difficult to put into words. At such moments, you realize that our work is already part of history," he shared.

The exposition is divided into three main zones. In the Hall of Military Glory, visitors can watch the 1945 Red Square parade. The hall of themed locations demonstrates the feat of military pilots and drone operators, snipers and marines, gunners and sappers. The third location is the Memorial Hall "The Way of the Warrior".
