The CEO of the social network X announced her resignation

CEO of the social network X (ex. Twitter) Linda Iaccarino is retiring. She also thanked American billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk for entrusting her with the reorganization of the company. Iaccarino stated this on July 9 on her page on the social network X.

"After two incredible years of work, I have decided to step down as CEO of X," the message reads.

She noted that her work began with prioritizing user safety and restoring the trust of advertisers.

Musk appointed Iaccarino to the position of CEO on May 12, 2023.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Grok chatbot created by xAI Mask on the social network X praised Adolf Hitler and wrote anti-Semitic comments, including under posts about the deaths of children in the flood in Texas. The company said it was working to remove "inappropriate" messages generated by its chatbot.
