The victim of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the beach in Kursk told about the beginning of the attack

A victim of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Gorodny beach in Kursk said that before the attack, a "buzzing" sound characteristic of drones was heard. The woman informed Izvestia about this on July 9.

"There was a buzzing sound, like a drone. We quickly turned off the light and froze so that it would fly past us. And we already heard an explosion, and the flame immediately occurred <...> on the beach," she said.

According to the woman, everyone who was near the scene of the incident provided assistance to the victims. Then people left the beach, waiting for the arrival of emergency services.

"We started walking away. At that moment, there was acrid smoke, <...> and it turns out to be an ultrasonic squeak in the ears, and a pop. And I felt a burning sensation in my knees. I raised my hand, and I see blood," the victim emphasized.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the Gorodskiy beach in Kursk was reported a day earlier. As a result of the incident, three people were killed, three injured are in serious condition, said Alexander Khinshtein, acting governor of the Kursk region. The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case into the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
