Venezuela plans to start exporting gas in 2027
Venezuela intends to start exporting gas in 2027. This was announced on July 9 by Executive Vice President of the Republic Delcy Rodriguez.
"Today, Venezuela is restoring oil production, preparing to export its first gas molecule in 2027," she said at the 9th OPEC International Seminar. Her words are quoted by TASS.
At the same time, Rodriguez did not specify where exactly the gas is planned to be supplied.
On June 21, William Castillo, Deputy Minister of Anti-sanctions Policy of Venezuela, announced that the republic, together with the Russian Federation, would soon hold the first meeting of the bilateral working group on countering sanctions. According to the representative of Venezuela, the goal will be to develop strategies and solutions to neutralize the negative effects of sanctions imposed against the countries.
