The headquarters of the French National Unification Party were searched. This was announced on July 9 by the head of the faction Jordan Bardella.

"From 08:50 (09:50 Moscow time. The headquarters of the National Association, including the offices of its leaders, were searched by about 20 armed police officers from the Financial Brigade in bulletproof vests, accompanied by two investigating judges," he wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

According to him, emails, documents, and accounting reports were seized during the searches. At the same time, he stressed that the claims that have arisen for the organization of relevant events are still unknown.

Bardella stressed that the court now has all the files related to the latest regional, presidential, legislative and European campaigns of the party. He expressed his belief that this was part of a harassment operation, and also called the searches an attack on pluralism and democratic change.

Earlier, on May 13, Bardella stressed that the political crisis in France can only be resolved through new elections. He stressed that in addition to holding a referendum on the migration issue, new parliamentary elections should be held in the fall in order not only to give the nation the floor again, but also to obtain a majority.
