The political scientist pointed to Macron's criminal habits
French President Emmanuel Macron wants to become the leader of a European empire. This opinion was expressed by political analyst Sergei Markov on Wednesday, July 9, commenting on the sudden death of Olivier Marlex, a deputy of the National Assembly (lower house of parliament) of France from the right-wing Republicans party, who was investigating a corrupt deal involving the French leader.
"Macron does not have the habits of a dictator, he has criminal habits, and he is ready to apply them, ready to remove his problems with the help of violence. Especially now, when he intends to become president of a new European empire," Markov said in an interview with aif.ru .
The expert noted that Macron is extremely unpopular among the French and does not want to "burn out."
Marlex was found dead in his home in Aneta on July 7, RT reports.
Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death. In addition, an autopsy is planned. Presumably, Marlex committed suicide, writes Life.Ru .
Macron reacted to the death of the politician, noting that he "strongly" defended his ideas.
In 2021, Marlex published a book called "The Liquidators" with the subtitle "What Macronism is doing to France and how to get out of it," according to the website. kp.ru .
