Investigators began checking after a massive outbreak of salmonellosis among participants of the Ysyakh Olonkho national holiday in Yakutia. This was reported on July 9 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the republic.
It is noted that as part of the investigation, examinations and interviews are being conducted, and the causes of the incident are being established.
In addition, based on the results of the audit, a decision will be made in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
On July 9, an outbreak of salmonellosis was recorded in Yakutia among the participants of the national holiday Ysyakh Olonkho. More than 50 people sought medical help in Yakutsk, Tattinsky, Neryungrinsky, Megino-Kangalassky, Namsky districts. The victims associate their illness with the consumption of ready-made poultry dishes.
