A court in Moscow fined Telegram messenger for 7 million rubles.

The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined the Telegram messenger for failing to fulfill its duties as the owner of the social network. This was announced on July 9 by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction.

"The Moscow court has brought Telegram Messenger Inc. to administrative responsibility for non—fulfillment of duties by the owner of the social network," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the court imposed an administrative fine of 7 million rubles.
